Retaining Wall Pricing Guide
We receive multiple questions each year regarding retaining wall costs. There are multiple variables that go into building walls . Its always easy to say “well it depends” due to no site being the same. Things that make prices change are height of wall, straight vs curve, and access to site are to name a few. The following wall pricing example is built with a material we commonly use to build larger walls. There several other products we use for smaller walls and raised garden beds.
Versa Lok
Versa Lok Standard units are 6 inches high and 16 inches wide. These blocks are solid weighing at 83 pounds. We have built many of walls with this material only because we believe it provides the greatest stability because each block connects to others using pins. Most other blocks are hollow which allow for contractor errors. Meaning the tendency not to core fill with a clean angular stone. Versa Lok blocks require a cap on top of the top layer of block. Matching caps will be A and B units. These can be cut for curves and corners.
